PAY SCALES:-
(i) Medical Superintendent: Rs. 18400-500-22400 + NPA
(ii) Professor: Rs. 18400-500-22400 (+ NPA for medical candidates only)
(iii) Additional Professor: Rs. 16400-450-20900 (+ NPA for medical candidates only)
(iv) Associate Professor: Rs. 14300-400-18300 ( + NPA for medical candidates only)
(v) Assistant Professor: Rs. 11625-325-15200 (+ NPA for medical candidates only)
(vi) Lecture in Nursing: Rs. 8000-275-135000/-
SPECIAL NOTE: The Appointments against the posts of Assistant Professor will be "Tentative in Nature" and subject to final outcome of the SLP No. 2106/2002 pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India on Reservation of Posts for SC/ST/OBC.
RESERVATION OF POSTS:- In respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes, the posts of Assistant Professor and Lecturers in Nursing will be available as admissible under the Rules. However, the reservation of posts is floating and subject to the availability of suitable reserved category candidates in any discipline / subject.

NOTE:

Out of two posts of Medical Superintendent, one post for Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences.
Upper Age Limit: 50 (fifty) years, relaxable for Government Servants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates or otherwise exceptionally qualified candidates. Upper age limit upto 5 years is relaxable for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.
The effective date upto which the requisite experience must be completed is 30 June 2005.
All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Delhi / New Delhi.
The essential qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of Selecting Authority.
Late & Incomplete application, i.e. applications not in the prescribed proforma (3 copies), short bio-data (12 copies) and without a bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 100/- in case of SC/ST candidates) as application fee, will not be considered.
While every effort will be made to provide residential accomodation to the faculty staff appointed at the Institute subject to availability but in view of the paucity of the residential accommodation in the campus it may not be possible to provide accommodation in the campus it may not be possible to provide accommodation in every case. In the event that no accommodation is provided, necessary H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of Similar status stationed at Delhi / New Delhi will be provided.
Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.
